How to Get to Luoyang: Trains, Flights & Transfers
Luoyang sits on the busy Xi’an–Zhengzhou high-speed rail corridor, so the train is almost always the fastest and cheapest way in. Here are the routes, the stations and when a private transfer makes sense.
The short answer
Take the high-speed train to Luoyang Longmen station (the bullet-train hub). It’s ~36 minutes from Zhengzhou, ~1.5 hours from Xi’an and ~3.5–4 hours from Beijing. Luoyang’s own airport is small and domestic-only, so international visitors usually fly into Zhengzhou, Xi’an or Beijing first.
The three stations (don’t mix them up)
Luoyang has several rail stations, and getting the right one matters. The one you want is Luoyang Longmen.
