A farmer shaped over 500 kilograms into the Chinese national flag out of gratitude for the country’s agricultural policies amid the pepper harvest season.
“Since I planted peppers, this year’s yield is the highest, with output per mu of over 2,500 kilograms. And the pepper’s price is also good,” said Zhang Fucheng, a farmer in Yichuan county, Luoyang city, Central China’s Henan province.
