Luoyang Science and Technology Museum has a total area of 108,000 square meters and a construction area of 118,500 square meters. Derived from the concept of “Between Heaven and Earth” and modeled on tiles invented during Zhou Dynasty (around 11 BC- 256 BC), the square-arc shape of the museum reveals both deep traditional culture and strong senses of modernity, science and technology. Once opened to the public, the museum will be developed into a first-class mega compound of urban science and culture in China of international vision and Luoyang characteristics, integrated with scientific, educational, cultural, touristic and business functions.
